I love that I can fold the straw instead of having it out and exposed all the time. Truly is leak proof and stays cold for a good while. The 32oz is the perfect size. The color is also very pretty! Out of the other tumblers I’ve tried, this is definitely my favorite. Also something about the clear lid and being able to see how much water I’ve had makes me drink more??

I’ve been wanting to buy a hydrojug for some time so have been watching the Hydrojug website for deals. Shipping cost has always prevented me from doing the deal. I was very excited to see this on Amazon minus the shipping costs. Yay!!
Love the color, water stays cold all day, the top twists on and off so very easy to fill. Best part does not leak!!

 First, let me say that I have a tumbler problem and should probably seek help. I have 3 Stanleys, 2 Simple Modern, a 46 oz Coldest Limitless, and a 50 ounce no name one I got here on Amazon… and now 2 of these HydroJugs with 2 more on the way as gifts. I love all the cups mentioned above, but the only one that was truly leakproof was the Coldest brand, which has a lid like a water bottle instead of a flat tumbler lid. I have had Hydrojug water bottles in the past and was impressed with their quality, so I was super excited when I saw this new design and hoped it would be my holy grail tumbler… so far so good! I first bought Navy one here on Amazon almost a month ago, because it was the only color available and I wanted to try it before I decided to order several for gifts from their site… the fact that it is truly leakproof is so awesome and the round straw is way more comfortable to drink from than the flat kind that flip up.

As soon as my husband saw the navy one he asked if he could have one… he had been using a Stanley and loved it, except for the fact that it would spill if knocked over and he tends to be clumsy. The company was running a Black Friday sale and so I ordered myself a neon pink one and told him he could have the navy one when my pink one came… he’s been using it for 2 weeks now and loves it. I was so impressed with this cup that I bought 2 more from their site as gifts. I hope Amazon gets more colors in stock.

Thermal properties:
As this is a straw only style tumbler with no option to sip from the lid, it’s only meant for cold beverages. It keeps ice as long or longer than the Stanley and the Simple Modern, as long as you start with mostly ice and less water, just like any other thermal vessel. Obviously if you have the straw flipped up it will be less insulating. The video on my review was taken to show my best friend how much ice was left after 24 h as well as illustrate that it’s really leakproof.

Durability:
One person has noted that they broke their straw lid, but that can happen with any flip up mouthpiece if you drop something. The lid itself is rimmed in silicone and the low profile of it protects it from damage. As far as the paint, it’s high quality powder coat with a logo that is subtle. I was surprised to see the post that shows the powder coat peeling because that has not been our experience with either of the colors we have. I encourage them to contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

Design:
1. The color match on all components is perfect, unlike some other brands.

2. The handle is comfortable and the cup is well balanced.

3. The dual threaded lid is MUCH easier to use than the Stanley one and the lid itself is crystal clear and low profile, so you can fill the cup up closer to the top than you can with any other brand without the aggravation of the lid displacing some of your water and making a mess.

4. It really IS leakproof, as my little video demonstrates.

5. Although I didn’t even realize it when I ordered, there a rubber bottom (also perfectly color matched, I might add) so it’s really grippy and stable on flat surfaces.

All in all, it’s currently the most impressive of my embarrassingly large collection based solely on performance.

I am in love with this cup! I was very hesitant when I got it, because I have Stanleys and have loved those. I wasn’t sure if I would love the quality, color, and if it would really measure up to the Stanley. I’ve had this for 2 days now and after the first day, I realized how much I loved it even more so than my Stanley.

Here’s why. This actually keeps my water colder and for longer than my Stanley. I even have straw covers for my Stanleys, and they don’t keep my water cold for nearly as long as my hydrojug. My water is also much colder with the hydrojug than even the Stanley. I believe the reason why is due to the seal that is created to make the cup leak proof. I feel like this helps to insulate the cup even more.
I got this cup because I have a toddler who loves to play with my cups and I am always worried about my Stanleys being knocked around and spilling. There is absolutely no leaking whatsoever with this cup and I’m still shocked even though I’ve seen this in pictures! That right there is my top reason.
I also love the straw with this versus the straws with the Stanleys. It’s hard to describe why, but I think the size and sturdiness are why.
I also LOVE this color! It’s even prettier in person!
My ONLY fear, based off reading other reviews, is that the handle or straw will break. I will see as I use this over the next couple of months. But so far, it’s amazing and even better than I expected.

Updating after just a couple weeks of use: I still LOVE it! It is so much easier to use than a Stanley, because I can carry it around without having to worry about spilling! I took it with us on vacation and it made things so much easier! It stays cold for so long too! I love that the straw can’t be pulled out! My toddler loves to take straws out of cups and she can’t do that with this! So far, the cup is holding up well! I will update again once I’ve had it for a while!
