13 reviews for 5Rcom TV Stand Mount, Universal TV Stand Tabletop for 22 to 65 inch Plasma LCD LED Flat Screen TVs, TV Legs, Holds up to 88lbs, Max VESA 800 x 500mm, Height Adjustable TV Base,

  1. Aaron Carr

The TV stand works as advertised, though it is a bit on the flimsy side. I put a 65 inch TV on it (around 40 lbs) and it seems to be holding up okay. The TV stand does cause the TV to wobble quite easily, though I assume this won’t be much of an issue for lighter or smaller TVs.

The legs themselves were fairly simple to set up, though the few pictures used to install it were not great. It took about 15 minutes, but that was due to me having to redo parts of the legs multiple times.

Quality wise, the legs are a thin piece of metal that does not instill confidence. I would not be surprised if my ~40lb TV eventually caved in due to these legs.

Overall, I would only recommend this TV stand if you have an older TV you don’t care too much about or have a lighter TV. The saying “you get what you pay for” fits well here. It does the job it needs, but it leaves me wondering when (not if) my TV will eventually tumble over.

A little flimsy but holds well

Once I saw the R and L on the stand brackets it was easy to assemble. A YouTube video was beneficial in the assembly. The 43-inch TV is the perfect height and the legs are stable. I got it rapidly. Worth the price. Thank you.

Had a TV that was previously attached to the wall that I needed to take to another room. Didn’t have the original base so I went looking for a substitute that would allow some headroom to avoid any possible overheating. I had a friend who likes to hang his TVs on his walls and they last an average of 5 to 8 years. When the package arrived, it came in a tiny box. In it, a manual along with several size of screws and accessories came included. I was a bit hesitant at first since I saw so many parts. However, after following the instructions, I realized that most of the screws were not used because it’s a universal stand. The included tools such as the tiny ratchet and L key were very helpful in the installation process. The 4 sticky tapes that you attach at the bottom of the legs came as an added bonus to avoid any scratches if you ever decide to move the stand. The materials seemed to be of good quality. Thank goodness you can also adjust the height of the stand as I am sure the original stand for the TV wouldn’t had fit in the space where it was placed. Overall, it took about 15 minutes to put everything together. The only negative I found that it was a bit “wobbly” when pushed to the sides. Wished it came with some wire to attach to the wall along with a wall screw to allow extra support. The price was what pulled me in to buy this stand in the first place and I’m glad I did. For me it’s a 4.5/5.

    Pros
    – Fairly sturdy with a little wobble. As long as you are not doing jumping jacks in front of the TV, it is negligible.
    – Good selection of height adjustments.
    – Easy to assemble

    Cons
    – No tilt feature
    – As seen in the photos, fully assembled without using plastic washers, we are not even close to level. The TV has a downward deflection, meaning the top of the TV screen tilts back and is not parallel to the bottom of the TV, which is either an engineering flaw or plan given the weight this has to hold. With this deflection, you can see ceiling lights etc… on the screen, just as you would using a mirror.
    – Deflection Fix: I used 2 plastic washers that were included with the top mounting screws to “fix” the issue. This results in a slight upward deflection, meaning the top of the TV is further forward than the bottom. Although not truly level,I don’t have to worry about background lights reflecting off the screen. Of course, this is an “at your own risk” fix, but the top screws had plenty of thread so I’m not worried about weight stability.
    – Tip: Sanding down the washers a bit would achieve a level viewing area with better stability.

    Conclusion
I needed a stand since newer TVs outset the legs requiring a wider table/base. This one works as planned, although with a slight modification as noted above. The stand does have some wobble/flexibility, but I have to be actively doing something in front of the TV or moving it to produce a wobble. The engineering and physics make it unavoidable, but I don’t see it as an issue either way. Those who exercise in front of a TV may disagree. All-in-all, this is what I would expect for a $20 product.

Received the order in good shape and fast delivery thanks.

Easy installation. Takes a little dexterity but works great. We replaced our 55 inch Frame wall mounted with a larger same unit.
Ordered the TAVR Universal Table Stand which claimed it would fit a 55 inch flat screen. Did not say it would fit The Frame. So, they took the return and I ordered this 5Rcom stand mount. Only 19.00
    Works great
