This thing is absolutely amazing. The shush feature helps my little one fall asleep and stay asleep. Light is slightly too bright, and distracting, but you can turn it off. Wish I got this sooner. Sound is great, just loud enough to help your little one fall asleep.

The sheep has a variety of settings and sounds which are comforting to the baby. Works really well. Only thing to watch is that a parent speaking nearby can set off the sound.

This little sheep helps amazingly; the comforting sounds and light help calm him down and also help him sleep longer, allowing mum to get on with stuff or even get some extra sleep.

I really want to love Ewan. I mean, bottom line is that he is the most effective sleep aid we have tried yet. Our 9 week old does not like to stay asleep. He hits about 45 minutes and wakes up. I have watched in awe as Ewan the sheep helped him self soothe right back to sleep. It’s a miracle at this point!
However… The cosmic joke is how awful and frustrating the interface is. The buttons are all inside the sheep. The on/off can sometimes be activated from the outside, but you have to get lucky. If you are unlucky, you’ll find yourself opening loud Velcro just at the moment where you want to soothe your infant back to sleep. The buttons are not at all intuitive, so a thorough read of the instructions is necessary. And maybe a second read if you are as tired as me. Lastly the batteries do not last long. I’m talking a day and a half. I could probably improve that by remembering to do the weird button routine that switches the mode between manual/auto each time I pick up and lay the baby down. You need a screwdriver to change the batteries.
As long as he keeps the baby asleep, you can bet I’ll be changing those batteries everyday and dealing with the frustrating interface.

I purchased this mainly for travel and it was a life saver! My girls were soothed and comforted throughout their naps. The red light seems to help ease them into their naps while the heart beat and white noise soothes them when they get fussy. The stuffed animal is so soft, cute, has great sound and overall performs great! This was worth every penny!

Cry detector is neat but doesn’t always work. Tends to miss half the cries. Would be nice to set a timer on how long is plays (20 min is too long, 5-10 would be ideal) Price I feel is too steep for what it is. $20 would be more reasonable.

I bought this product for my 22 month old granddaughter. She had the sheep from when she was an infant but the inside electronics wore out. Took the electronics out of the new one and put it in her original sheep. Works great!

I bought Ewan about 5 months ago. He has saved the day pretty much since we’ve opened the box. My daughter didn’t really give him a second glance when we first started using him while rocking her but now that she is 8 months he has quickly become her comfort buddy. She grabs him as soon as we offer him to her and she sucks on his ears and pets him.
I’ve read some reviews saying the sound box is hard to use but we’ve had no issue. We don’t use the auto feature so that button we don’t need to get to, the night light we just always leave activated and if you turn the box to face out you simply squeeze his belly once to turn on or double click to cycle through the sounds. We havent needed to wash him yet but I don’t see it being any issue.
My only wish for him would be that he was a little less “bulbous”. He’s very round and isn’t easy to balance while holding baby but now that my daughter can hold him herself it’s less of an issue.

Love this product, perfect sleep aid for newborns. If you do have a very unsettled baby however i personally would recommend something else with consistent white noise but for most babies this is a good comfort. Good value for money & lovely soft plush material. Battery life remains good, easy to use with clear instructions. Would recommend for 0-9 months but could be used for older if needed. Noise is good as you can change volume and honestly never bothers me, Has a 20 min lockout so switches off after the time so good performance. seems very safe
