first i started by using 1, after approximately 10 mins of only 2 mosquitoes being around , 5 more mosquitoes have joined the party . honestly this attracts the mosquitoes more than it repels . Save your money . i gave 3 stars due to facts that it did keep the 2 mosquitoes away for the time being

Lets face it, this is not an infallible method of dettering all flying pests. It’s not meant to be. And yet it’s still great at it. I’ve been inundated with flies given that I’m parked next to a garbage can doing repairs preventing me from moving the vehicle that I’m converting right now and also living in. I couldn’t open my door without getting a bug flying into my van, And I have a mesh net too that I’m using to help. It’s almost as if they were planning it with synchronized watches. Pop open that candle and I encountered maybe 95% less bugs, specifically flies my arch nemesis. It was honestly incredible I was so amazed because I’ve used to leave other brands especially ones that are more focused on citronella only. This was incredible by comparison. I’m in and out of this van all day long and you can see that I have on the left a UV thing that’s completely full of bugs but it didn’t get any more yesterday. So the UV plug with a sticky pad is supposed to be the safer one yet I’m using this candle and doors because it’s just that good of a scent. The candle took care of my bug problem, and it didn’t feel like I was suffocating me.

I love these candles but I need a longer lasting method. These candles work great to keep mosquitos away but they burn quickly and are small for how much you pay.

Living near a pond in Utah (where swarms of large mosquitoes are a constant issue), I’ve tried many products (including burning mosquito repellents, wrist bands, and more), but none have worked as well as these citronella candles.
During a sunset picnic near the pond (a prime time for mosquito activity), I used two of these candles. As soon as I lit them, the mosquitoes stayed far away (a remarkable change). It made a huge difference, allowing us to enjoy our evening without constant swatting and itching (a rare treat).
I highly recommend these candles for anyone struggling with mosquito problems. They are effective (truly), easy to use, and made our outdoor time much more pleasant. Five stars for sure!

We have tried a lot of different bug repellent candles for our back porch. This is hands down the best at keeping all the bugs away. The scent is strong, but pleasing. Highly recommend!

Just got these today but so far so good! The scent is really powerful and even sitting 5’ away I can smell it. Love that it’s all natural too. The candles stay lit even with our ceiling fan turned on. Haven’t seen any bugs yet and it’s pretty muggy out today. We’ve been having trouble with wasps so I’m curious to see if it will also keep those away. Fingers crossed!
