I went through 2 cheaper machines until i finally invested in the Hatch and it was well worth it. It’s easy to use and looks cute. No issues and ive had mine for 3 yrs. There was once an issue with the cord however I contacted Hatch and they instantly sent me a new one. I love the different colours, the different sounds, volume intensity etc – and best of all you can turn it on and off with your phone. A must have with a baby and a gift I love giving as a baby shower gift.

My family has 3 of these hatches now. Love these hatches a lot. We originally got them for our kids, but I ended up buying one additional one of these for myself too as my own noise maker and wake up light. They really stand behind their products. Rain noise quality is perfect, you can’t hear any stuttering or anything. Love the lights and the scheduling.

One of the things that really surprised me was how this company stands behind the quality of their products caring for their customers. For one of our hatch devices, unprompted they reached out to us through the app saying they wanted to replace our device because they noticed on their side there could be an issue causing the device noise generator to occasionally be cutting out. This was around ~2 years into owning the device and we hadn’t noticed anything wrong with it at all. They sent us a replacement free of charge. This seems unheard of, a company going out of their way to report a potential issue to you and proactively going out of their way to give you a new free device. It’s really clear they care a ton about their customers.

At first it was a little frustrating to figure out how to connect to my phone, as our wifi is pretty in and out. But once I found the spot where the Wi-Fi would connect, it was super easy to set up and get it up and running. The appearance is super sleek looking, and the quality is very durable and holds up perfectly even after being dropped a few times. I haven’t traveled with it yet but plan to take it when we go to the beach for a week since it’s super portable and just requires a simple plug in chord to work. The night light works great and has perfect dimming and brightness for the light. The only thing I wish is that the night light would turn on by a touch instead of a button which is too hard to see at night. I wish I wouldn’t have to get my phone out to turn the night light on in the middle of the night, but it’s still super convenient with the color options (we use the red since it blocks melatonin disrupters) and ability to easily change the brightness. Would recommend! It’s very easy to control and turn on from our phone which makes it super convenient and is very versatile with the different noise options that it has.

I had my first daughter 1 year ago. At the time I didn’t want to splurge on the Hatch baby. We decided to go for a cheaper machine that we got at Walmart. We are expecting baby number 2, and I decided to go ahead and get the Hatch baby since they will not be sharing a room. I think this is just a case of good marketing. If you are not connected to the app then the sound machine is rendered useless. I had connected the machine and used it for 2 days. Then I was putting my daughter down for a nap and tried to connect and it was not working. I tried resetting it, unplugging it, I could not get it to work in time for nap time. Thankfully I have my trusty Walmart sound machine that you just plug in and go. It has different colored lights on top, a night light that adjusts just by tapping it, and various sound options. This device is cool and gimmicky, but completely unnecessary and unreliable. Don’t feel like you need it or are missing out if you don’t have it. I gave 4 stars because I don’t want to be rude and lower it’s rating.

This is the second one we have bought, the first stop working on us maybe 8 months in after using it day and night, however still repurchased hoping the second will last us longer. I enjoy having the different options for sounds and having the light. The time display is very handy for knowing what time it is in the middle of the night with a fresh baby, would recommend. Very user friendly

Takes a bit of time to get used to the software but I use it every day with my little bub and hope to use it for years to come.
Great for feeding or changing in the night with its adjustable flow.
Time is really easy to read.
