Ever wonder what two kindergarten kids will do when given 120 bats to attach to the front porch? They’ll have a ton of fun that afternoon. We used the poster putty adhesive to attach them because it comes off easily. Bats were easy to fold to give a 3D look, and they move in a little breeze, making them more realistic. Kids loved hanging the bats all over. Cats loved trying to attack them. A few dozen are staying up for Christmas.

The quality of the bats themselves are fantastic. These come in a plastic container to hold them all, and the plastic of the bats is good quality and not flimsy at all. They could be used for many years to come!
However- the adhesive that comes with them to stick/stay on the wall doesn’t work AT ALL. Horrible, horrible quality. I even cleaned the walls of any dust before placing them, and within a couple hours, several (almost all….) fell to the floor. There are several reviews like this too… Trying to find a new adhesive that could work for these…
Rating at 3 stars – 3 for the quality of the bags, -2 for the adhesive… because what’s the point of having them if they don’t stick?

These are so cute! Just put them up and they seem to be holding onto the wall well. We have massive ceilings so I’m always trying to figure out how to fill the wall space over our fire place. These totally did the trick and were super easy to put up.
I only ended up using about 30 bats so am excited to have a bunch left for the next few years as well!
Update: The sticky is not so good for textured walls… the small bats are okay, but the big ones fell after a few days. Double sticky tape has been even worse. After resticking a few times, I’ve given up and am just letting them fall off. I think next year I’ll try multiple sticky pads or look into something heftier.

These bats are fantastic!! They’re so cool looking and I loved the different shapes and sizes in this package to give a more realistic look. The adhesive works so well that these were hanging outside for a month for Halloween and 2 days before the holiday we had a storm with 30mph wind come through and they all for the most part stayed on! The video is from after the storm and a month of sticking. So grateful they didn’t all blow away right before Halloween! Would not recommend using inside on painted walls though. Now that I’ve taken them down some of the adhesive has remained on the siding which I was prepared for but because of this I would not use the included adhesive to my interior walls, it’s just too good. I’m sure it would work great on a brick fireplace but just be smart about where you stick these.

These are great quality but a bit time consuming to use if your plan is to put them on the wall or ceiling. The double sided tape it comes with is strong and you should exercise caution when removing them as you could easily take a layer of paint with it. The process to put them up otherwise is simple. You take a piece of double sided tape (included) and hold the middle of the bat and fold both wings in for create a 3D effect. You probably won’t use the entire box and it comes with small plastic box for the unused bats. All in all a great and simple purchase with value!

Look super cute and definitely give you good quality and quantity for the price. But I wouldn’t recommend using the wall adhesive provided. They were a little difficult to remove and left a residue.

I just love these. While there are many options for similar Beatsx THeSE come in 4/5 different bay “styles” as well as three different sizes for each style of bay. It makes the look more artistic than if it was one uniform style of bay in different sizes.
Sticker pads work great on gloss- paint, plastic, metal (refrigerators, etc) but before using on matte or peeling paint. Windows would be great. But if you are concerned, maybe try with that blue wall putty from the 70s as they are lightweight and don’t take much to stick
1) they come in a reusable plastic storage box for saving for next year
2) bats are sturdy plastic and can be applied by children (my daughter “hid” some in funny locations)
3) the variety of shapes AND quantity of 120 makes this the brand I recommend.
Very fun, low commitment decoration, and not “too scary” for kids. Price fluctuates and I oaid $6.99 but now they are (well worth it still) at 8.99)
