Been having this fryer for 2 weeks now and it has NOT rested yet. I LOVE IT & wonder how I’ve gone this long w/out one. Before I start bragging on this thing, I am by no way endorsed by Ninja or getting paid by them. I’ve owned a few Ninja products blenders and still have one that’s over 10 years old. They make quality machines. This fryer is a life & time saver…especially if you’re a lazy cook. I have been researching air fryers for the past few months and nothing comes close to the Ninja. The basket size isn’t the large 5+ quart capacity like the bigger fryers, (Ninja is only 4qt), but this thing cooks so fast you won’t miss the extra 1 qt. It comes w/ a crisper that works perfectly, a recipe book and a multi-layer rack. The first night I had it I made wings and I tell you that I will NEVER buy fried chicken again!!! Yes, they were that crispy and tasted much better. I bought the Louisiana fried chicken flour from Walmart, battered the wings, spritzed w/ a little olive oil and had fried chicken in 10 minutes. No greasy mess, no 3rd degree burns from hot oil, and your house doesn’t smell like a chicken joint for 4 days afterward. Because the Ninja uses a ceramic coating on their fryers the clean up is very easy. Next, I made sweet potato fries! Had a bag of frozen ones in the freezer and popped those babies in for 10 min. They were crispier than McDonald’s. I tried homemade fries but the procedure takes too long. You have to peel, slice, soak potatoes, dry them…I’m just ready to pop them in the fryer and eat! It has been nonstop air fryer cooking in this house! I hit youtube to get a few recipes and it’s been on ever since. What I like best about this fryer is it has a dehydrator feature and how fast it cooks. Frozen chicken wings? No problem! Throw them in the fryer for 10 minutes and they’re defrosted. I’ve cooked pizza, fries, wings, reheated food, fried zucchini, and tonight I baked a chocolate cake. Everything came out perfect! Next up is donuts! The only thing I don’t like about this fryer is 30 seconds after it finishes cooking it shuts off. I know this is a safety feature but I always have more items to cook. In 2 weeks, I have used my microwave twice, and that was to reheat coffee. Before I forget, I did cinnamon rolls too! I used the canned Pillsbury ones and it normally takes 20 min in the oven. In the Ninja? 8 minutes and that’s if you like them brown. I actually could have stopped it at 5 min and they would be perfect. My house smelled like a Cinnabon factory!😛 I have used every feature on this fryer except the dehydrator but I’ll be making beef jerky soon. Overall, I am VERY pleased! The best selling feature was the price & the size. The Ninja is much slimmer than some of the bulkier fryers and fits under my cabinet nicely. I’m also happy it only used 1500W unlike some of the larger fryers that burn 1800 which could kill your light bill. The outside of the fryer doesn’t get hot so you won’t have to worry about getting burned but do take caution when taking your food out. Is it loud? My exhaust fan on my stove is louder than the Ninja. The extension cord on it is long so you don’t have to worry about being limited on where you can place it. I think I’ve covered everything? This thing is THE BOMB! If you’re wondering what cookware you can use, just about anything you place in a microwave you can put in the Ninja. I went to the Dollar Tree and bought a few 7″ foil pans I use to reheat food & bake in. Also, grab you some silicone tongs while you’re there so you don’t scratch the surface of your fryer. This thing has been almost as good as a kid getting a new bike for Christmas. You will NOT be disappointed w/ this purchase. Happy & healthy cooking!

I have never loved a gadget the way l love my fryer. It is perfect and it does the job. No need for oil any more.

First ever air fryer, so still getting to know it, but first uses were all great, with much better fries than my old Actifry. Great for streaky bacon too!

Looks good, works good, makes great french fries. Takes twice as long to cook or warm foods as the microwave. Don’t know how long it will be allowed to take-up valuable counter space.

I have always wanted an air-fryer of this style so I took advantage of a PRIME sale this week, almost half off! (My previous experience was with an all-in-one model and the air-frying function was disappointing.) I opened it immediately and put it right to work. I’m amazed how easy it is to use! The little booklets with it are very easy to understand and have some very interesting recipes! I thawed out and cooked 5 cheese brats that had been in the freezer maybe a year and looked a little burnt and dehydrated. They were amazing, brown and juicy, and only took 7 minutes after the 3 minute preheat! Best of all, I used a paper liner and, even with these juicy greasy brats, there was only a tiny amount of cleanup to the basket. I’m so happy with the trial run that I went out and bought fries and chicken wings and all kinds of stuff to cook in it! Thanks for another great product, Ninja! 🙂

This has been an absolute game-changer. I was one of those who used a toaster oven and never felt the need to buy an air fryer, but man is it worth it. It heats up quickly and cooks’ food evenly in a fraction of the time compared to a toaster over. One of the standout features is its versatility; from frying and baking to grilling and roasting, the air fryer does it all. I’ve experimented with everything from fries and veggies to more elaborate dishes like salmon and even desserts, and the results have been consistently excellent. I’ve yet to reheat pizza but definitely need to try it.
Cleaning is also easy with the dishwasher-safe basket. Not only does it perform well, but it also looks sleek on my countertop and fits perfectly without taking up too much space. I highly recommend giving this air fryer a try.

So after years of saying I need to buy an air fryer, I finally bought this.
Now, at first, the smell of it cooking was terrible. I’d wash it after every use with a lot of soap and scalding hot water. What I learned is to use the smallest amount of dish soap and warm water. That honestly helps so much. The coating so far hasn’t scratched (which I read some people have had issues with). Because it’s nonstick, don’t put it in a dish water and use a soft scrubber on a sponge not anything super rough. That will help too.
It cooks things amazingly. I can finally enjoy my favorite foods without all the grease, which is a major plus for me since I’m working on changing a lot of my diet. (Though I still get fast food once a week, I do put things like my fries through the air fryer and it gets off all that excess grease and makes them more cripsy).
I also recommend lining the bottom with parchment paper or getting liners to help keep the bottom of basket clean longer. It also makes for easier clean up.
The temperature does stay at 390, so you have to adjust it every time you turn it on. Just like the timer resets to join when you hit the arrows. That’s not a problem to me, but to others it is. Just hit the arrows and adjust the time as needed. It does shut off once the timer goes off, so it does have a good safety feature to prevent it from staying on after it’s done. And I do mean it shuts off completely.
It’s not super loud, but you can definitely tell that it is on when you are making things. And it doesn’t take up a whole lot of space (I only have around 4 feet of counter space, and it fits perfectly near my toaster, microwave and electric kettle with just enough room to set up platers and other things).

I will not deny, the difficulty I experienced with Amazon, in finally receiving this item. But I cannot deny the culinary value and its corresponding speed in cooking items I would have never considered trying before. The top quality of this product is undeniable. The company has reason to be proud. Home made fresh potato fries, the multitude of frozen and fresh products this item can cook at a fraction of the time, using less energy and less mess to clean afterwards…all of this with less damage to your heath. Fantastic! I could go on, but I think you get the message. I am retired and I honestly admit, I am no chef and I easily get discouraged when it comes to cooking. This product has encouraged me to do more cooking, eating healthier and having less to clean after the fact. My only disappointment is that product makers seem, so far, to avoid air fryer cooking instructions. I, however eclectic this to change soon. Congrats Ninja!

This is my first air fryer and it has been a good purchase. Makes cooking in the heat of the summer alot easier and keeps the house cooler, does a nice job on the small jobs like sausages, brats, nuggets and the like. My favorite thing about this product is that the non-stick surface is ceramic coated which is better for you than other non-stick surfaces. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Bought this product along with an electronic 2 ring convection hob, we love both products so much we are getting rid of our gas cooker, why keep it?
The air fryer cooks beef, lamb, steaks, chicken in a third of the time the meat succulent and juicy, melts in your mouth.
Our gas oven takes much longer, saving money on gas bills, we have got rid of our deep fat fryer as well…win/win.
Highly recommend this product!!
I have written a review on Amazon about the hob hope my reviews are helpful to others who may be considering to purchase either product?
