The Vacu Vince system is easy to use and forms a good vacuum in the wine bottle to delay spoilage. It does not require too much “muscle power” to create an effective vacuum. The device clicks when a good vacuum is formed. The included stoppers are easy to insert and effective. You just tilt the stopper a bit to break the vacuum. Pour yourself a glass or two and reseal the bottle. I would not recommend Vacu Vin for long term storage of open bottles, but it is great if you just want a glass every day or two.

I love Vacuvin for wine preservation! It’s very easy to use and works well. In the past I have used a nitrogen based wine preservation system which worked well but was expensive and less convenient. I love Vacuvin!

This wine saver is so easy to use. Pop the lid in to the bottle and then pump. There is an audible pop when you’ve pumped enough.
Keeps the leftover wine tasting just as fresh for much longer.
I bought a black one that came with two grey lids.

I tend to have a small glass of wine with meals over the course of several days and I was frustrated by the taste change over a period of a week or so before emptying the bottle. I had read about the need to decant the wine into smaller bottles over time, but never got into that. When I saw the VinVac device on Amazon, I decided to try it. It has worked very well over the course of the first few weeks that I used it and am happy with the drinkability of my Chianti over the course of a week or so. I consider this item as a good investment.
