These lights come with 100 vintage-style ST38 bulbs and 4 spares, providing ample illumination for my porch, garden, and gazebo. Each bulb emits a warm 2700K glow that creates a cozy and inviting atmosphere, perfect for evening gatherings or just relaxing outside.

One of the standout features of these lights is their durability. Made with PET material, the bulbs are shatterproof and waterproof, which means they can withstand harsh weather conditions without any issues. I was particularly impressed during a recent storm; the lights held up perfectly and continued to shine brightly. The energy-saving aspect is another huge plus. Each bulb consumes only 1 watt, which significantly reduces energy consumption without compromising on brightness. This is not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly.

Installation was a breeze thanks to the convenient hanging holes. I used cup hooks to secure them around my patio, and they stayed put with no fuss. The versatility of these lights is another highlight; they are suitable for various occasions like weddings, parties, or simple family dinners. I even connected multiple strings end-to-end to cover a larger area, and it worked seamlessly.

These were super easy to use, looked great and were easy to repack to store. No worries about breaking bulbs or special packing. We got so many compliments for the lighting at my son’s summer birthday party. We used them with temporary garden poles that we also bought on Amazon. We were able to customize according to our layout easily and efficiently.

Easy to install, and creates such a nice vibe on the deck where I used it. Love it!

We had a previously had a set of multi-color frosted string lights that we never really loved. The app never got the color right (we wanted warm white) and eventually the wire snapped, so it was time to replace them.

We have a bit of an odd setup in the backyard, so wanted to have some flexibility about how to and where to hand the string lights and wanted to cover a fair amount of territory with them. We also didn’t want to spend a lot of money as these seem to not necessarily be products designed to stand the test of time, based on past experience. Finally, we wanted Edison type LED bulbs. So this seemed like a good option.

Overall, we have been pretty pleased. They are pretty basic, but the bulbs all worked out of the box — and actually at 150 feet, we had more than we could use, so actually only have two of the 50 feet installed.

They don’t tout these as being dimmable, and I haven’t tried anyway. I have them connected to a smart outdoor plug that is only on-off. They are reasonably bright and nicely warm. They actually might be more bright than ideal for us, but that’s a personal matter.

Even though they are LEDs, at a distance, they still have that Edison vibe, which is nice. Sometimes LED versions of the Edison look are not very convincing. Across the yard, they look great.

I can’t say the wiring gauge feels very heavy duty, but for now they work fine. And you are getting pretty good value for your money for how much footage you get.

One thing to note, there’s a fairly long lead of wiring with no bulbs at the male end that plugs in. that worked well for us, given our plug is a bit of a distance away from where we want the lighting, but note that when hooking these up in sequence, you might lose a bunch of footage if you want the lightning to be seamless from one string to the next. Basically, on the second string in the sequence, I had to coil the lead wire around a tree branch a bunch of times until I got to a bulb so as to not have a gap in lighting from string one to string two. It looks fine now, but that probably means 50 feet has less than 45 feet with actually lights. Just FYI.

But overall, this is a pretty good solution for our needs. Lots of nice looking bulbs at a good-value price. We’ll see how long they last, but we are happy for now.
