I’ve bought 3 of them and they work great. They’re in my fogponic propagator, rooting some fruit trees I’m trying to clone. They’re doing a wonderful job for what I’m using them for, especially since I added the air pump to keep the water oxygen rich. I’ve got 12 Pakistan Mulberry trees that are almost ready to pot up, after getting this fog to help with root growth. I’ll probably end buying more.

I ordered the one with the float and the splash guard after learning that this couldn’t go in very deep water, such as a cauldron. Without the splash guard, it makes all kinds of mess, splashing around like crazy. With the splash guard, the fog is severely restricted and you don’t get enough to have a cool effect. The float is smart, though, and with a big enough (wide) container, without the splash guard, it might not make quite so much mess. Although this is simple to use, it didn’t come with any instructions and the design seems, um, interesting. The actual mister goes into the plastic cup that the foam float goes around, and there is a slit in the cup for the cord. But the slit doesn’t go down far enough into the cup to allow the mister to actually sit at the bottom of the cup where it should. It still works, it just could be better. It’s cheap thin plastic though, so I will likely modify it. Speaking of cheap thin plastic, all of the pieces for the splash guard were wrapped in bubble wrap and taped up like Fort Knox. It took forever just to get the packages open. I appreciate the effort to protect the items, but dang, it was way overkill. Especially since the most important part, the mister, was just thrown into a small box. So this works, and is cool, but may not work the greatest or the cleanest without forethought in terms of what kind of container you want to use this in.

A nice little addition to the small fountain on my balcony. Makes a foggy mist that settles on the top of the water. Can set an ethereal mood. I like watching the wisps of fog form and dissipate. Very relaxing to watch.

Works pretty good in fish tanks just need to make sure to use the plastic cover it comes with since the water it shoots it really hot In some parts and can kill your fish but overall amazing product!
