I know, why review a $35 kettle, right? Well, Ive had to return a few because they either won’t do what they’re supposed to do, or there’ some kind of design flaw. I’m noit overly picky, I just want a simple kettle that boils quickly, shuts off when it’s done and for all the parts to work together.
I have to say Amazon knocked this little fella out of the park. A small kettle that boils quickly, looks decent and has no annoying flaws The lid opens wide, it’s quick to boil and shut off and takes up minimum counter space. All at a decent price.
Perfect for one or 2 people in my opinion and a great buy. I’ve only had it a couple of days so we’ll see hwo it holds upo but in the ealry going I’m FINALLY happy to ahve a kettle that works.

I love inexpensive electric kettles. My kettle from Costco had the sawdered lid come off the kettle – still worked but nuisance to open and close to put water in. So opted for a cheap new electric kettle. Happy with the price and sleek design. It’s a pleasure top watch the light to turn and watch the water turn to boiling lol. Super easy to use – hit the bottom toggle down to turn on the kettle. The button to open lid while turning faucet on is excellent.
My last 2 kettles from Costco did have the temperature programmer and reader so miss that but not enough to spend a couple of extra dollars for lol

I’ve own at least a couple dozen electric kettles in the last 50 years. This is the best one I’ve ever had. Most kettles take at least 10-15 minutes to boil the water. This little gem gives you piping hot water in about 5-7 minutes depending on how much water you use. It has an automatic shut off when the water boils which I love because I get distracted and forget. Another feature I love is the kettle lifts off the base so you’re not fighting with the cord. It also looks great on my cupboard and takes up very little room. Would definitely recommend this kettle. Super buy for the price.

This a very well designed and executed product. This is a 1-liter design, a perfect size for two coffee drinkers. (The bigger sizes waste time and electricity heating water you will never use if you’re just making two or three cups at a time.) It is fast and it automatically shuts off (with a little “click”) when the water reaches a rolling boil. The “window/porthole” in the side of the pot is clearly marked with a “Mini”, “Max” and “In between”, so you can easily see how much water to pour into the pot. The electric cord can be stowed into the base so you won’t have to look at a tangle of wire on the counter-top. And its price is most reasonable.

I bought an electric kettle on Amazon a while back, a 1.7 liter size, that didn’t work out for us. We have a small kitchen and it was too wide to fit the storage spot where we were planning to keep it when it not in use. It went back to Amazon.
So, I went hunting for a one-liter kettle last week that would fit. Amazon had a handful of options, but I thought this stainless steel version would probably be our best bet. (They also have a glass-side version of this kettle. It’s pretty, but I didn’t think glass was a good idea for us.) We’re very pleased with it.
This kettle literally fits the spot, which is about 6″ wide, 8″ deep and 8+ inches tall, and it has everything we were looking for: It is fairly sturdy, sits on an included base unit that plugs into a nearby outlet, has a simple on/off switch that you push down to start heating the kettle, turns itself off with an audible click when it comes to a full, rolling boil, and the kettle handle stays cool, so it’s easy to pour into a coffee or tea cup. Looks nice, too!
It takes about two minutes to boil 10 ounces of water for the coffee cup I make tea in, the same amount of time my microwave takes, a bit more than two minutes to heat half a liter, but it is slower than boiling a liter of water on our induction cooktop. This kettle takes 4-1/2 minutes to boil a full liter of water, where our (Frigidaire Gallery) induction range does the job in 3-1/2 minutes.
The thing about the boiling water in a saucepan is it’s not as easy to pour . . . and every stovetop kettle I looked is bigger than that 1.7 liter kettle I sent back to Amazon.
So, Yay! Nice kettle. I think it’s time for a nice cup of tea.

* Simple to operate.
* Viewing window lets you see how much water you’ve put in it.
* A push button and hinge on the top of the handle pops the top of the kettle open so you can fill it.
* Sits on a power base that stays put when you pick the kettle up to fill or pour it. (Older kettles you had to unplug the cord.)
*The kettle handle stays cool, as does the bottom of the kettle if you want to set it down at the breakfast table.
* Smaller footprint than other kettles I looked at. So, if you are tight on kitchen storage space, this might be exactly what you’re looking for.
* $25.

Recently received this kettle and am using it daily with Brita filtered water. Happy no lime scale so far on bottom SS plate. Kettle works well, efficient use for two in the household for tea, rapid boil and auto shut off. One area for improvement is product documentation, it is non-specific on how to replace the mesh filter should it fall off during internal cleaning. I figured it out after some frustration, see attached photo (in case this happens to you hope it is helpful). Better, more specific product documentation is always helpful to users.

This little pot may not be as pretty as the others with glass and fancy colors but let me tell you it’s a GEM ! I happened upon this pot by chance at an Airnb that had all the bells and whistles you could imagine and some you could not … they had a fancy coffee machine also but we are instant coffee drinkers and plugged this little gem in and it blew our socks off .. perfect temp for our coffee and so quick .. auto shut off the quality and durability on top of the price point makes it a no brainer .. plus makes me smile just looking at it !!!

A little over 4 cup, which is perfect to heat my 4 cups of water for my hummingbird feeder nectar and perfect for my 2 cups needed for my drip coffee. So easy to use and clean with that wide pop up top. It literally starts to boil in seconds. I like that the base is separate from the glass jug so that you can pick it up to pour without the base. It’s lightweight but feels quality. There’s nothing I don’t like about it .

I’ve been wanting one for so long, finally thought “why am I waiting?! It’s not that expensive!” Got this one because it seemed dependable and I was right!
I’m now obsessed with British tea and get why they insist on using an electric kettle. I drink like 5 cups of British tea per day with a bit of milk and sugar.
Looks nice on my counter, I actually moved my coffee maker to a shelf and put this in its place, it looks better and is smaller.
Very well made, not too heavy, lid and heat mechanisms work perfectly, heats the water to boiling in about a minute!

I needed a replacement kettle for my elderly mother who boils a kettle of water 5-10 times/day. She had trouble with the weight of 1.5L kettles when full, had destroyed the complicated/difficult opening button for the filling lid on others, she could not handle a fancy digital kettle and several expensive kettles died under her heavy daily usage. I bought one of these for her 3 years ago and it is still working well. The simplicity of the vertical slim design with an obvious button to open the lid for the fill, an obvious button to turn it on and the small 1L capacity (reasonable weight when full) were perfect for her. I have bought this kettle for another relative who also loves it and I just bought another one for myself as a backup kettle when the kettle in my home office (or my mother’s current kettle) dies. Simple, effective, fast boiling and auto shut for those who like real boiled water for tea or pour-over coffee.
