I have tried silicone baking cups before and didn’t like them. My husband bought some cornbread mix, so I decided to buy and try these. I did make 6 cornbread muffins, but my picture shows only one because my husband ate one of them. Since previous silicone cups I tried everything stuck to them, I did put a little oil spray in the bottom of them, but they really didn’t need it. The muffins easily came out of the cups with no sticking at all. To clean the cup, I put a little soap in the bottom to remove the oil I put in it, but other than this I only rinsed it in hot water and left it to air dry. There was literally nothing stuck to it.

Although the description describes these cups as muffin liners, they are thick and sturdy and a muffin tin is not at all needed. I put them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil in case there was runover, but the cups held their shape without having to be supported by a muffin tin.

Now that I have tried them, I am enthused to try them for so many ideas such as egg bites, mini frittatas, mini cakes, cheesecake bites, dinner rolls, and the list goes on. I am sure I will come up with more ideas over time. As an experienced cook and having tried so many gimmicks, I didn’t expect to be so happy with this baking cups especially for the nonstick qualities and the rigidness of the cups.

I would highly recommend using these baking cups instead of the throw away paper cups that require the support of a muffin tin. They are reusable and eliminate the expense of throw away paper cups. They also release the food much better than paper cups. These baking cups are also useful for use in the oven or in the microwave. In the microwave, you can easily make a quick breakfast with egg, scrambled or not, and add a little onion, bell pepper and cheese. Really, the uses are limited only by your imagination.

UPDATE 01/02/24:
I have used these baking cups often in the 7 months I have had them, primarily for corn muffins that my husband likes for breakfast. I use a Pam spray in them to reduce the possibility of anything sticking in them, but now and then little bits of the muffins stick in the grooves. The solution is warm water and an old toothbrush. The toothbrush makes cleaning them so much quicker and easier.

I am SO happy with these. I tried making muffins using regular liners this past weekend and they all stuck to the liner even though I sprayed them with oil. These things are amazing!!! Did not need to spray them and nothing stuck to them. Incredible purchase. Love the colors too!!

These are excellent muffin liners and reusable for many, many batches of muffins and cupcakes. I typically make a batch weekly. They are also useful for doling out snacks. I like that they not only fit in a standard muffin tin, they also can stand alone in a baking pan. The muffin or cupcake pops out with ease. 99% of the time, cleanup is a breeze with just soapy water and a swipe with a sponge. Some muffins, for whatever reason, leave residue clinging to the sides, and a small amount of scrubbing gets it off (and I find it easier if I turn the cup inside out to scrub it). The only downside is that, while they last for a long time, they don’t last forever. I will have to buy my third set soon (they don’t all wear out at once, though, so I will keep using the current ones as long as possible). When I consider the alternative of disposable paper liners, these are a definite win.

Mi novia los ha usado ya varias veces y está feliz. Los colores son bonitos, el plástico se siente firme. El tamaño queda perfecto en las charolas de cupcakes. Es muy fácil quitar los cupcakes de los vasos una vez horneados, aunque recomiendo dejar que se enfríen antes de quitarlos, porque si no se puede quedar pegada una parte al vasito. No han presentado deformación, ni olor, ni cambio de color. Lo único complicado es lavarlos, lo hemos hecho a mano y se necesita ser preciso y utilizar un cepillo para limpiar entre las ranuras, pero tampoco es tan malo.
Estábamos a punto de comprar vasos de papel pero al final esos se tiran y pensamos que éstos serían una mejor opción para no estar comprando de papel y poder reutilizar estos.

So cute and much better than single use cupcake cups.
