Update: After my original review, I received an email from Blink Support and was actually helped by someone. He checked the logs of my camera/floodlights and noticed they were draining my batteries unusually fast. I received a replacement a week ago and my batteries are still at 100% 😁.

I really wanted to like this floodlight camera, but it just keeps disappointing me. Let me start by saying, I originally got this camera and the doorbell, because a motorized scooter was stolen from my carport in the middle of the night. Installation was easy and the camera quality is great (only reason it got 2 stars), however, the batteries that came with the camera died within the first week for both the camera and floodlights. I changed the batteries for the floodlights (multiple times a multiple sets of batteries) and they haven’t worked in over a month. I change the batteries for the camera every couple of days. I left for a few days for a mini-vacation and my camera was dead the whole time. I changed the batteries the day I came back, which was Monday. I am typing this review on a Wednesday and I already have to change the batteries again. My camera sensitivity is set at 3, because you know if something happens, I want it to be caught on camera. I think the worst part is I tried to reach out to Blink support and granted them temporary access to my account, to be told my batteries were dead, to change them, wait 10 seconds then plug it back in. That was no help. I felt like the support person wasn’t even paying attention to what I was saying. I had to keep repeating myself and even sent pictures and a video with my original message. If you are considering this camera/floodlight set, maybe try the wired version vs wireless.
