This was sent USPS and I gladly had to go to the Post Office to pick it up. It was too big and heavy to be delivered by our wonderful mail lady. Box was new and in great condition as well as it’s contents. Took me about 2 hours to put together with no problems. We used an old memory foam mattress topper underneath the cushion that came with the chair cut to size. The chair is very sturdy and the frame and cushion is of the best quality. I’m 228 pounds and my wife is 203 pounds and it holds our weight (separately) very well. One reviewer said to be careful leaning forward when getting out of the chair but we have had no problem. Was surprised how nice and big it is. Wasn’t expecting this much for the price. Great Value!

Directions were a little weird and the chair was not easy to assemble; it took awhile and was awkward. It looks very nice but the cushion does nothing and it feels like you are sitting directly on the frame of the chair. For the cost, I would have assumed a thicker and more comfortable cushion. So now I am either going to have to buy another cushion, use a folded up blanket for extra padding or add some memory foam underneath. Pretty disappointing that I need to modify it after purchase, especially after what I paid for it.

I really like how low it is and also the size of it is big enough to have my big dog curl up in it. It’s soft and sturdy enough for me and I’m 210 pounds. Very quiet when I swivel in it with my weight. Very easy to put together even comes with extra screws and hardware 1 of each. Easy to sit down swivel and sit up also not too heavy!

This chair is sooo comfy! It’s large and wonderful for just relaxing and calming the senses. It was easy to put together, and is great quality! We love this so much I bought one for my classroom calm down corner!

Almost Famous! –
The base of the 40″ papasan chair is easy to put together and is very sturdy – It took me about 20 minutes. The deep seat is comfortable (I am 5ft 11″ and 150 lbs) but my complaint is that I can feel the bars of the chair , even though I purchased the high density cushion. I speculate if the cushion is truly “high density” . Overall I like the chair ( it is in a guest room that will not be used regularly) but the cushion and cloth need to be of better quality if used daily.

I ordered this chair for my home office, it arrived in great condition, it was very easy to assemble, the cusion is very nice and fluffy. This is a great size chair for both children and adults.
