I was a little skeptical that this towel would be thin and not really dry, but I was wrong. This was the perfect poncho towel for my little one. We went to Kalahari and the water can be cold and then getting out walking around causes him to be cold so this was perfect to keep him dry and warm. It also snaps on the sides in case they want to feel like they have sleeves.
Perfect and a must have for waterparks or just swimming pools.

I wanted a poncho style towel so my 7 yr old could remove his swim trunks on the back porch or at the beach and have some privacy while drying off. This is made of towel material similar to our beach towels. I like how it opens up with the snaps on the sides. Colors are bright and it seems well made. Size is great. It comes to his ankles and is roomy but not bulky. He will be able to wear for several years. It would fit my 10 yr old. I withheld one star because I haven’t washed/dried it yet. It has rained all week. It arrived as scheduled, was well packaged and had bonus items – a carrying bag and finger puppet.
**Edit to Add** still have and regularly use this towel. He is now 10 and it still fits. Washed well. Adding a star.
