For this price point, you cannot beat this futon. It is very easy to assemble for one person. It is lightweight making it easy to move around. Feels pretty sturdy and looks great. The faux leather looks nice and is easy to clean. Love the built in cup holders. It is small but it’s as advertised.

This is a great futon with its classic design and modern look. I am redoing gramps’ apartment and needed to have an extra bed in case he needs help overnight. This futon is the perfect solution for his tiny apartment. I now have a place for a caretaker to sleep should he need extra help. It is sturdy and quite comfortable too. I would recommend this futon.
The Captain –
This futon looks great. The lines of it are pretty sleek, and the fake leather is of a very high quality. It’s also quite sturdy. The wood of the frame is strong and four of the six feet are reasonably solid metal (the center two feet are plastic). It appears as though it’s strong enough that it would hold up to daily use. I don’t intend to utilize it on a daily basis, so I expect mine to last quite a long time.
Assembly was mostly easy. You have to bolt the four metal feet to the bottom and then screw the plastic feet into the hinges in the center. You’re given all of the tools you need for the assembly (and more screws and bolts than you actually need). The only difficulties I encountered were with the soft metal of the screws (they’re very easy to strip) and lining up the bolts for the center console section. The bolts on the center section took a lot of wiggling and the space was a bit tight. That said, it didn’t really take me more than fifteen minutes to put the whole thing together. I’d consider that pretty easy overall.
I had one issue that I cannot blame on the manufacturer. One of the plastic center feet was damaged in the shipment that I got. One flange had been broken off. I’m pretty sure the damage occurred in transit, as the broken pieces of the flange were still in the box. Given that the futon travelled around the world to get to me, it’s certainly understandable how such damage may have occurred. The plastic foot is still useable (the intact side of the flange screwed in just fine) and it’s not affecting the functionality at all. I’m just noting that the cost saving measure of using plastic for the middle feet has led to some number of futons having transit damage. I’m still very happy with the futon.

The quality of this couch is okay and about what I expected for the price. It was fairly easy to assemble by myself within 40 minutes. It’s pretty comfortable and somewhat sturdy though lightweight.
What I cannot get over is how tiny this futon is. I am 5’10 and considered one of the short people in our household. There is no way anyone but my 12, 10 and 8 year old would want to sit on this thing due to how low it is. Luckily, I got the futon specifically for their play room/sun room. Unfortunately, I got this for me to actually sit on while they play and I will feel like I am getting up off the floor.
I give this futon 3.5 stars.

We picked up this sofa – folding bed for my son’s new apartment. It is quite easy to assemble, and it looks and feels solid. It is versatile – as it can fold out to a bed for when friends crash at his place. The price is right as well.

I love this futon and how easy it was to put together. I thought I was missing pieces but I found them in the zipper compartment of the base of the futon. So I canceled my return. Once put together this futon is sleek and I was surprised how nice it looked for the price. It’s sturdy and is perfect for my kids friends to sleep on when they come over fora sleep over.
