9 reviews for Extendable Bypass Loppers Tree Trimmer with Compound Action,17-23″Telescopic Heavy Duty Branch Cutter,SK5 Sharp Blade Cutting 2 in Shrubs and Branches

OK, I’ve used tools that have these extendable handles before, and they were a bit of a bother because they would loosen, and I was constantly tightening them up; but these stay tight, so there’s that.. The blades are heavy duty and sharp (another thing that I was skeptical about) but they cut through thumb sized green wood easily. Now, a 2 inch hickory branch? Not so easy. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t try to push them that far. And hard dead wood Is out of the range of these snippers. If you use them as they were intended, I think you’ll be very satisfied. Being able to collapse the handles makes for easy storage anywhere. Would I buy these again? Yes. Are they worth the money? Yes, they are. I’m happy with this purchase.

How easy it was to use!

Very easy and light weight. Can work for quite a while before tiring… probably more a review of me than the loppers.. they can go forever. Sharp and strong. I probably don’t need extendable feature as I just use them in the fully extended position but others might.

  4. Kevin Ritter

I use these fully extended. I thought it would be great to have the two sizes but I haven’t used them short. The locking twist comes loose even when the handle is tightened and trying not to twist it while cutting. The blade is sharp.

These work really well. They extend they way they are supposed to. They came nice and sharp. I have been able to cut everything I have needed them to

  6. Patricia Boyd

Bought this for my husband, he loves them.

  7. Brenda P. Tapp

Does the job … but the twist handles keep untwisting…which makes the job a bit harder and time-consuming…to constantly have to adjust and tighten the handles.

This is a dandy little small branch cutter. I knew when I bought it that it wouldn’t extend out as far as I might want but it is fine for small jobs and the price was definitely right at the time. I will buy a longer extending set later but for now it is fine to help put the garden to bed.

Wow! that’s all I could say after pruning trees for about 2 hours. The blades are sharp. Blades extended to reach taller branches and they cut with so much ease. I have about 3 sets of old loppers and they are out of here. I would highly recommend these loppers. We have a lot of mesquite trees in South Texas and when branches die out they are very hard to prune; not any more. So far I have only used them once for about 2 hours but this won’t be the last. We have live on 10 acres and will get plenty of use from these loppers. Get yourself a pair, you won’t regret it.
