I was looking for an inexpensive recliner since I have two cats that are not declawed and no matter what I do to try to protect furniture, they manage to at the very least to do some damage with their claws, even furniture that I’ve covered with slipcovers and EVEN furniture that I’ve put double sided tape on and/or plastic furniture guards. They somehow manage to get their claws into the furniture. So, when I was looking for a recliner, I wasn’t especially looking for one that had a synthetic leather as they can damage that as well. I had actually ordered a couple of other pieces of furniture, one from Amazon and one from another company that were so uncomfortable to sit on that I returned them and kept looking. The reviews were pretty good for the Homall recliner so I decided to try one but honestly didn’t have much hope for it being very comfortable. I was completely surprised! While the recliner is not a luxury chair that you’ll sink into and feel like you’re in a soft cocoon, it is actually quite comfortable. I recently was very sick with Covid and spent quite a bit of time in the chair. The only comfort related issue I have with the chair is that while reclining, the lower part of the chair that holds your legs is a bit hard and can feel a bit uncomfortable if your legs are in one place too long. I thought the chair, for the price of about $150 was such a great bargain for my needs that I ordered a second recliner of the same so that I have one in my bedroom and one in the living room. They are not bad looking at all, and they are very easy to assemble. I’m a smaller woman in my 60’s in good shape and had no problem at all.
Now, if I didn’t have cats I would have spent more money on a chair that I know would last for years and had more padding on the legs. I don’t know how well the recliners will hold up over time but they aren’t going to be subjected to rough use so hopefully they will hold up for a few years. The size of the recliners is perfect for a smaller apartment and people who aren’t very tall and/or very heavy. I can see how someone who is over 6 feet tall or someone who may need a wider seat with more support may not be the most comfortable in the chair as the recliner is on the smaller side. It also sits lower to the ground than some, but it’s perfect for me at 5’4″.
Overall, I’m happy with the recliners. They arrived on time with no damage.

Did not realize we were buying a small chair. But it is comfortable for my 6′ 1″, 235 lb husband. Very sturdy and pleased with the size. Very happy with this purchase.

I had a chair like this from gymax so I was sceptical about buying this but dude let me tell you something this chair is comfy and just the right size for a small space witch is what I needed and boy is it sturdy I’m 289 lbs and 5,9 and this chair is the best it feels good quality and comfy it’s easy to assemble in about 5 mins five stars all the way around we will see how long she holds up but I’m happy as a tornado in a trailer park I’ll tell you what!!!

I looked at a lot of recliners both in the stores and on-line. This one stood out. Good value and seems well made. Goes together in about 5 minutes; as others have said, just two pieces. It is helpful to have a second person to help line the top up with the base. It looks good in the space and doesn’t overwhelm the room at all. It reclines easily in two positions in addition to straight up. The second position is comfortable for reading. We got red and the color is true to the pictures. I guess the only con is that it is not as padded as a more expensive or larger recliner, but it is very adequate for our purposes, and you can fall asleep in the extended position! It’s good enough that we would buy a second if we needed it.

UPDATE: Scratched below first approach – after only few days of usage. Reason?: two of female thread inserts came out and one corner of the wood frame was almost raveling.
So I implemented this second approach : I mounted two 3″ wide hardwood pieces (see the pic) under the seat with self-drilling wood-screws. These are quite dense door thresholds – bought from hardware store. I also replaced the wheels. So instead of previous single-stem wheels; these new ones mounts with 4 screws (avoiding the sway effect of single-axis stem). The whole idea is to distribute the body weight on to wood frame of the seat – utilizing largest possible area. So far so good.
——————————————————
After couple decades of using computer chairs; I’m done with them.
The issue I (and you) have with all computer chairs is; you sit on single axis (shock absorber).
Bottom mount of that shock absorber (to wheel-base) lasts forever; no problem.
But top mount always breaks after a year or two (unless you are shelling $1200 on a HermanMiller chair).
That’s because of your body weight swaying left & right. Even the arm rests and/or body breaks if your chair has a plastic frame (as most of them do). Plus the long-term comfort is never comparable even to a basic recliner seat.
For these reasons I searched alternatives. I found this basic recliner with good reviews. But I had to have wheels on it. I measured the diameter of screw-in feet. That screw stem has 8 millimeter diameter. Then I found and ordered set of 2″ Screw M8 5/16 8 x 25mm Caster Chair Wheels (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PXMW9JC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1).
But you can’t simply screw-in those caster wheels. Because this recliner has a tiny wood frame. Female thread is only small metal nut – merely embedded in to that wood frame. If you simply screw-in those wheels; your body weight will just rip that metal nut out of that wood-frame (i.e.; you’ll destroy it). Because the original plastic fixed-foot has large diameter. As you screw-in that original feet; weight is distributed on to wood frame thru that wide plastic body.
So I had to use few metal washers to simulate that (so the weight is applied on to wood-frame – not only to metal nut insert). You have to use at least one 2″ diameter washer (2,5″ is better, if you can find it). I added two more smaller washers because the wheel was not fully going in to the female thread. (the reason is; female thread is real 8 mm, but the caster wheels I ordered are actually 5/16″-18 coarse and they are NOT exact equivalent). With these 3 washers you see in the photo; I can tighten the wheel till it stops in the thread (again; because of size mismatch between 8mm female thread and 5/16″ wheel stem).
At the end; I have a very nice wheeled computer seat (versus a chair). Highest comfort. I can recline and (once seated) pull myself under the desk (thanks to wheels) effortlessly. You better have a height-adjustable desk though. Because finished height of that seat is lower than typical computer chair. If you have a fixed computer desk; chances are that you’ll stay too low with this recliner under it.
Coming back to quality of this recliner seat; it’s only adequate, considering what you are paying for it. Padding sponge is merely there – frame is only wood (probably not very strong). So if you don’t sway and throw your body weight around; it should last for some time. If you need better durability & comfort; you’ll need to pay about five-fold.

The chair is the perfect size for the area I need it for. I also love the color.

This chair is perfect for small spaces. However,
the FDW Wingback Recliner Chair Leather is $70 cheaper and is the EXACT SAME chair. Same height, same feet, same everything. I promise you, if you put these two chairs side by side you can’t notice a difference. At the time of this review, this chair is $305, and the FDW is $235.
