As other have noted the brown tones are subtle. Large enough to store a throw blanket, and firm enough to set a tray on.

I have two of the Homepop velvet ottomans now. They are soft, well- made, and easy to clean. The button tufts add a decorative touch, and the green velvet color matches my sofa. The legs are nearby but I haven’t used them since the ottoman sits flat at a comfortable height on which to rest my legs. They are handy to keep some small items within to declutter one’s space and keep things organized.

This ottoman is surprisingly very good quality. It looks great, it’s functional and the top is a very thick cushion. My only complaint is the ottoman is alot darker than the product picture on Amazon.

I looked for a chocolate brown ottoman for a long time and all I could find was red tone browns or tans. This is a true dark chocolate brown. Picture attached. I chose not to put the legs on because I wanted it lower than the chair. The storage feature is a bonus! Buttons are low so they don’t bother your legs and seem to be connected good. Recommended.

This ottoman is a really good buy for several reasons. It’s the perfect “sitting height” and will keep you level with people sitting on your sofa or other chairs. The velvety material looks and feels very nice. It’s sturdy and has a good amount of storage inside. I have a fluffy blanket in mine. I ended up buying a second one because of how easy they are to move around and add seating when you have guests. The only assembly involved is screwing in the four legs. The legs have a little curve and you can have them curved inward or outward based on how tightly you screw them in. (If you’re like me, that matters.)
