    These would 100% be 5 stars, except for:
    1. the foam inserts are extremely difficult to insert;
    2. the adhesive backing tape is broken in multiple places, making it impossible to pull it all off at once.
    However, as far as I can tell so far, they do an excellent job of keeping out drafts – a very simple and inexpensive solution to a vexing problem.
    N.B. I also put them at the side of the door, not just at the base. Works really well also in that position, although you may have to skip the part where the handle or lock is. You need two to go up the side of a door.

    I have a very large gap in between my apartment door and the floor that was causing lots of air to flow in and out..and sometimes let a few bugs in as well. Once I was able to push the foam through the fabric tube and get everything attached to my door, the draft issue was gone. The piece slides on the floor very well and does its job.

    I recently purchased the HomeProtect Single-side Door Draft Stopper, and it has exceeded my expectations in every way. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:

    One of the main reasons I chose this draft stopper was its affordability. Compared to other options on the market, this product is a cost-effective solution for reducing energy costs without breaking the bank.

    Installation was a breeze. I simply measured the length of my door, cut the draft stopper to the appropriate size, and peeled off the adhesive layer. The Velcro sticks securely to the door, and using a hairdryer to preheat the glue made it even firmer. It took me just a few minutes to set it up.

    Well, it does help. But it’s probably best for a door that doesn’t open and close all the time. The reason is because it make a loud rubbing noise with the floor. I have engineered wood laminate floor. I put this stopper at the bottom of my master bathroom door to cover a little gap that’s been bothering me. But gosh it wakes up everyone when i open and close that door. 🤦🏻‍♀️. However, I put it on my front door which is hardly used, and where I can feel a little draft. Well it did great on the front door. I recommend it for doors that are not going to be frequently opened, as I think the plastic in this thing will eventually wear out from all the rubbing on the floor. It seems as if it is a cheap material when opening and closing the door because i can hear hard plastic rubbing I got it for the 2024 winter storm and so far it is working for my front door and I am pretty happy with that.

    Opened the box today to retrieve my order…. First priority was to install this on my front door…. Delighted. Easy to assemble, super easy to apply and use. Pleased. Would definitely order again but I don’t believe I will ever need to. Very nice.

    I immediately ordered this after I had a standoff with a LIZARD in my home. The installation was okay, but worth it. So far the adhesion is good, it keeps the bugs out, seals great and the overall quality is top tier! I’m glad I purchased this stable product.

    This has worked perfectly. I have a small gap on my backdoor where all of the bugs would enter. Since using this I no longer have bug promlems, and drafts have been eliminated. Easy to use.
