Personally I wish it were a little louder however it is calming. And looks great. The motor is very quiet. So quiet, in fact that when my dog decided to drink all the water, I didn’t realize for a little while that the motor was still going. It worked just fine even after that.

I was impressed by the looks and quality but I could not hear the water.
I tried different suggestions but still had to put my ear up to it to hear the water flow. There were plenty of rocks which others said there was little.

The only recommendation I would make to the manufacture, is to have a toggle switch in the electric line so it doesn’t have to be plugged/ unplugged w each use (therefore only 4 stars)

This fountain makes the loveliest bubbling sound. No water splash if you watch the placement of your rocks. The light reflects up onto the ceiling reminding me of days gone, out camping with the bubbling brook beside the tent and the early morning light reflecting the water onto the tent siding. Fyi, If you hear any mechanical Humm from it you most likely need to add more water.

I originally bought a very tall fountain that had similar appearance to this one. I bought this fountain to have a baby fountain that matched my big one .I absolutely loved this tiny fountain . So cute and small.
