Nowhere near the color or clarity of the gem-like stones pictured. I’m giving it three stars rather than less because honestly I’m not at all surprised. If I had actually been expecting stones as pretty as the ones pictured, I would have been extremely disappointed… but you’re not going to get that for $9. Buyer be aware, and don’t get your hopes up too high — see photo of what I got. Lots of dark, almost black stones, and very few of them are clear like the ones shown. But they’re smooth and shiny with decent amount of color, and since I’m just using these as top-dressing on plants, it’ll do. They’ll look a bit more natural this way, and I won’t have to worry about burying my pretty stones!
(I’m also not surprised at all of the reviewers disappointed that their “rose quartz” stones aren’t really very pink. Dye that washes off is not excusable… but have you ever noticed that rose quartz beads are commonly sold on a red string?)

The media could not be loaded.
I wanted something fairly cheap to decorate my terrarium. There’s a decent range of colors and a few nice banded pieces as well. I might keep a few of them out of the terrarium. When they came there was a dusting on them. I’m assuming from the storage or tumbling process but washed off easily.

Not a bad buy…I had purchased some others from a different vendor prior that were slightly bigger and much darker, but these are a nice mix of colors with more white swirled with the lavender amethyst chips. So these are lighter color and more mottled in color, but just fine for making stone mixes or decorating. A good value overall. Size was as stated, about the size of my pinky nail and good for mixing stones.

These rose quartz are nice looking small pebble size. They’re shiney and polished looking, unlike the fluorite ones I also got which are tiny dull chips.
