I brought this for two reasons. 1. I live right in front of the main building entrance meaning that cold air/wind comes directly into my Apt. (it doesn’t help because the entrance door is pure wood & has cracks and openings. 2. The paint on the bottom of my door has chipped and was bothering me very much just looked sloppy. I love that this handled both of my situations.

This was so easy to put together, the last product I brought was complicated for absolutely no reason. I love that it sticks to the door and then Velcro the opposite side. I’m sure this helps with keeping my Apt warm but it makes it look neat. BTW the stickiness of this product is so sticky and should not have trouble sticking to any door. It’s so strong when I put the tip of my finger on it, I had to pull it off with a tug. So there should be no reason why anyone should have trouble with sticking or it coming off by itself . I gave it 4 stars because I just received it but other than that 5stars so far.

We have this airbnb and there is a backdoor where the door frame is totally f****ed up (it is blocked off for guests). I mean it has wood missing, you can see the light poking through on the top of hte door also. We ran out of time and this was an amazing quick fix as it also looks tidy. I assembled it in minutes, and it adheres so well to the top of the door to cover the frame gap above. It now shields from breezes and makes this troublesome door look better and stops light from coming in. I thought it would probably fall off and not stick, but man this thing works. Well worth it – we have not installed the second one on the bottom yet.

It was easy to install and more importantly works well! We have a significant gap in-between the door and floor (tile) which causes unwanted drafts (and dust) to flow through… Tried all different door draft stoppers, but so far this one works the best. It’s uses a foam insert with a vinyl outer cover and attaches with velcro (super strong adhesive backing). I was worried it would tear from heavy usage/traffic, but it is holding up really well.

This Draft Stopper is quite a bit smaller than the typical two-sided, slide-on draft stoppers I’ve used, but it seems to keep out the cold air, dirt, and bugs just as well, or almost as well, while looking much nicer.

One problem we had with the slide-on draft stopper was that it would want to slide off. I had to duct tape it into place, and even that began to fail after a while. None of this is a problem with this draft stopper.

Overall, it looks much nicer and seems to work just as well. Give it a try!

The material fitted perfectly into my main suite door and i never cut/remove any excess. It was an easy peasy installation and i just did it myself 🥰

I can’t properly review the product because I can’t get the foam tubes into the sleeve. They sent it folded so when you reach the folded point it makes it near impossible to push through it. The clear strip built in the inside is pushing against the foam and even if you try to hold the clear piece it makes it tremendously annoying to do. That aside the Door Draft Stopper is well made, comes with instructions and tape.

Update 1: After going through a horrendous installation of the foam into the sleeve I managed to get most of it inside and apply it to my door. It works well, most of the light is greatly reduced and I don’t feel a draft anymore.

peel and stick quick and easy application its a bit big and meant for exterior doors but works well on hard wood floos

I bought two of these, I used one for the bathroom door at the end of the hallway, when I bought the house it had carpet everywhere including the bathroom, when I had the carpet removed and tile put in it left the bathroom door with about an inch of daylight between the door and floor not allowing for privacy as it should, this product worked perfectly to seal the bottom of the door allowing no light to penetrate and when opening the door it’s as quiet as a mouse with no drag on the door. The other I used on my front security door, installed security doors sometimes leave a gap at the bottom between the security door and the front door, I used the other seal on this door and the gap is gone and it happens to fit the gap perfectly.

This draft stopper is easy to cut through and re-size to fit your door, and comes with three pieces of foam to make a consistent bolster for the whole strip. I followed the recommendation to use low heat with a hair dryer to make the glue even more tacky, since my door gets extreme weather and I want to make sure the product stays in place. I foresee that this will be quite dirty, but the plastic/nylon type material will be easy to wipe down, and comes off the velcro strip to clean. The sides of the tube are open, so dust and things will collect on the foam at the edges, but this is still better than any alternatives I have tried.

I was almost put off by the negative reviews such as hard to install, cheap, flimsy etc. But I took a chance and bought it anyway. I couldn’t be more pleased with the product. The concept is simple – no drilling/screwing required to install it. I installed it on my screen door which had a large gap at the bottom and allowed cold air into the area between the screen door and the front door. It’s adjustable for height, attaches securely and works very well to block cold air. However, I can see that it wouldn’t be effective for blocking noise as some have complained. But that was not my purpose. I’m glad I took the chance with it!

Not much to say. It works, it was easy to put together, and it looked better than what I found at lowes. I will say that you’ll probably need a knife. The instructions said to cut the extra material with scissors, and my scissors werent that capable. Had to do half knife half scissor.
