I LOVE THESE. I light one and stick is somewhere near me when I am sitting on my patio. I never seen bugs around when I have this running. They’re very affordable, the smell is not very strong to me, and it can be smudged out if you don’t use the whole stick. Really great against all bugs!

I’ve read reviews that mention issues with how they smell. My wife who is very sensitive to obtrusive odors didn’t mind it. It is very easy to light and works exactly like incense. The sticks seem to work better at repelling mosquitoes than other electronic devices, which I have tried. However, mosquitoes don’t respect the smoke from the sticks and some will find a way to mite. A good fan seems to help in conjunction with the sticks.
