Have to say so far so good..Read allot of the reviews and liked what i have read and decided to purchase…The price is right for sure..I had a different hot water dispenser before this because i drink Instant coffee and used a hot water dispenser because its quick to boil water..Over the years the one i was using would last a few years and like this one the price was cheap enough that even if lasted just a year then i wasn’t out a bunch of money..The one i used before they had stopped making it after several years and they would last but a year so i purchased one every year or so as they wore out. Because they stopped making the ones i usually buy..I decided to go with this one after searching for a replacement after the one i usually get went KAPUT…This one does the same thing its just different and you know when you buy something your satisfied with you usually go back to the one you trusted before..Because it was different than the old ones i had before i was a little apprehensive to purchase it..Well i will say this..i am extremely happy i decided to give this one a shot..I find it actually better..its more easy to use and it does the same thing as the other..It boils water fast..i just put one cup of water in it although it will hold more if i need it to..I just use one cup of water for my morning coffee because thats all i need..The more water you put in the longer it takes to boil of course so for me i put one cup of water and in about a minute i have boiled water for my coffee..Of course it could be water for tea or soup..Whatever you need boiling water for and fast…Fast being the key for me..Can’t say how long it will last but the reviews from others say it lasts awhile…But even if it doesn’t its not like i spent a ton of money for it..I just got it and used it but a few times now so i really don’t know the life expectancy of this..Beware though because the first few times you boil water you have that newness smell…That went away quickly though after a few times boiling water in it..I just boiled water a few times and dumped it out and only took a few times of doing that before it didn’t have that new smell to it anymore and it tasted normal..Doesn’t have that after tasted like that of a plastic thermos…Its perfect for a perfect cup of coffee..I actually like this way better than the old one i had before as it is more convenient when i pour water from it to my cup..the other i had to stand there and hold a button down and water would come out at the pace it wanted to ..with tis one i just pour it out like a kettle..The water is boiling and plenty hot too so be careful not to burn yourself and enjoy

So far I love it but I’ve only used it once to see how long it took and make sure the light and automatic shut-off was working properly. Both worked wonderfully, lights up while it’s on and shuts off when it’s done. At max capacity with cold tap water it took approximately 10 minutes to boil. This is not maintaining a bubbling, rolling, overflowing boil, in case someone for some reason expects that, but it is and it’s perfect for my uses(reg and loose leaf tea and the occasional instant soup). To clarify it does bubble up for those of you who may not know how these kettles work that is what triggers the shut-off so it then goes back to its resting state. The handle remains cool enough so no danger there, the body of it is decently hot though as is to be expected. Currently it has been shut off for 14 minutes and is still steaming. The way I drink tea I could easily drink a cup and still have enough hot water for another which is kind of awesome.
Cons:
The plastic is obviously a little cheap feeling as a few others have mentioned. This is really inconsequential to me as the price is low enough I would expect Something to be on the cheaper and I’d rather it be that than say the heating element. It’s still decently think and so far appears to distribute or not distribute heat as it should, so not a big deal. As a side note is also still looks fairly nice.
Cleaning. Okay so these things are kind of always a bitch to clean. For this one the mouth is fairly small so it was a bit difficult to get my hand down in it to wipe it out(and I am a fairly small woman). Again, a lot of these electric kettles have this issue so to be expected. The kettle cannot be submerged so the outside just needs to be wiped down with a damp cloth or sponge and if any soap is used make sure the soap is cleaned off and it’s completely dry before use. Now for the little filter. None of my old kettles have this so it’s a new, kind of cool little feature for me. There’s nothing really telling you how to remove it or replace it so I had to mess with it a little to figure it out and with the cheap plastic I was a little scared to do so. Was also kind of annoying with the small opening trying to see and feel but it slides out with a little pressure and then you slide it in and pop it back into place so pretty simple once I figured it out.
The chord. So the chord is reallyy short. Like you should probably just put it right in front of the plug in. This is probably the most annoying con for me cause the spot I had is really right next to the plug in but still far enough away that it barely reached and my kettle is practically against the next item on my counter. I did plan on getting a strip for that outlet so I’ll make it work but was still a bit frustrating. So prepare to have it directly in front of a plug in if you keep it on your counter.
Packaging. Okay so I noticed others mention this in reviews and was worried about it but mine showed up all in one piece undamaged. BUT I can see where the concern comes from. It is packaged in a plastic bag inside a box inside your standard Amazon so no not a lot of cushion going on if the handlers were too rough I could easily see it showing up damaged.
Side-note: now at nearly 30 minutes and still steaming so that’s pretty awesome for a ten minute heating time.
Otherwise everything looks good I’m giving 5 stars as none of my cons are more than minor inconveniences I mostly expected and don’t really differ from anything in the listing. Great bang for your buck, I’m super excited about it and can’t wait for the much needed tea-time it will bring me! 😁

La monserga que era calentar el agua en la estufa para preparar un café en la prensa francesa se eliminó con esta jarra eléctrica, lo hace muy bien y rápido, la ventana que tiene para ver el nivel del agua no tiene precio, muy util y el toque de la iluminación interna para ver cuando ya está hirviendo el agua un toque fino muy util también, recomendable.

Looks great and works like a charm! Heats the water fast and makes making my French press quick and easy! Enjoy the auto shutoff! I would highly recommend this little green kettle!
