I used to buy expensive cans of argon gas to preserve good bottles of wine. I might need them to last 3-4 days or more after opening. This little device preserves wine just as well or better. Much cheaper than argon. Works for cork or screw top bottles. Puts quite a good seal on the bottle.

I have used Vacu Vin for years for open wine botles and love that I can keep both “daily drinkers” and expensive wines fresh for 3-7 days. It’s important however to open, pour and recork and pump out the air as you consume the wine. Otherwise your wine is oxidizing during the first hour or so and will not keep for as many days.
If you plan on drinking the entire bottle, just open it and enjoy! I have even used this process for expensive Fever Tree mixers, just don’t pump until you hear the clicks or you will remove the carbonation from the soda water. This is why I purchased another 6 corks as I use them for multiple open wine and mixers.

Been using these wine savers for years! They’re the perfect way to keep a bottle fresh for a couple days after opening. They’re super quick to pop into the top of a bottle, then use the vacuum pump to extract the air in the bottle, to open the bottle just push the nub on the top to release the vacuum. Cheap and easy to use while keeping your favorite bottle fresh for another day.

Don’t be fooled by imitations. Get Vin Vin brand and pay the higher cost. It is worth it. Wine will keep 4-5 days depending on the type. Some deep reds appear to be ok for 5-7 days. Whites are more prone to oxidize or so it seems.

The Stoppers are easy to use and seem to prolong the life of part bottles of wine. I had tried the set with pump and 1 stopper, and got additional stoppers as they work well.
