We got this set for our 18mo. She’s able to hold these much better than the plastic set we had before. Also, the forks are a bit sharper (not dangerous, though) so she can use it easier. They’re cute and sturdy and seem to handle the dishwasher well.

At around 18 months my toddler started trying to use adult utensils because her plastic baby ones weren’t as effective in getting food. These are perfect because they are toddler sized, lightweight and the handles are soft for her to hold but the base is metal so it picks up food much better. She is doing great at using utensils to eat and these are perfect for that. The colors are cute and they’ve held up in the dishwasher. Great value to have two sets.
