This has a good ‘feel to it’ for cutting ability and ease of use. Your hand will not get tired holding a heavy unit and has the power to easily cut 1 inch (25 mm). Have not tested as to battery duration but seems to be holding up well. This is the same battery that fits the minichain saw for the same company. I wish I had this a long time ago. Con: May be easy to use, but, be extra careful ! This tool is extra dangerous. The safety trigger which is to prevent accidental activation is placed in location that leaves the device always ready to engage. Pay extra attention, else, your cutting something you don’t want to.

I bought this Wirx printer because I love garden tools, and this had to beat the manual pruners I’ve been using. I underestimated how much I would use it. It is so easy to use, lightweight, makes great cuts, has great safety features, and a good battery life. I use it multiple times a week in my large yard. Worx products are the best! I’ve never been disappointed.

All of the Worx brand tools that I own are of good quality and seem to last a long time. This Pruning Shear/Lopper cuts branches up to 1.5 inches or so in diameter. The power behind the tool works to cut the branch very quickly with no struggle. I have tried to trim the flat fronds on my palm trees with less than stellar results but that is because of the shape of the frond. After several pruning jobs the tool works great and I highly recommend. I gave lower stars due to the fact that it is sometimes difficult to get the tool at the right angle to trim the branches off because of the length of the blade.

This is a really handy tool for elder arthritic hands. Breezed through thinning out my Azalea bushes, other bush plants and even small hanging limbs from trees (so I can easily walk underneath)
Can’t believe how easy to use. Charged up fast, went out to do the yardwork and got into spaces to trim brush that I can’t get into with my 24 inch bush trimmer.
One caution … it IS SHARP .. I don’t install battery until I am ready to use it (given that I also have joints replaced, this is my safety routine). Once I finish cuts, I pull the battery again before shifting positions.
Again .. fast work of tedious project. Appreciate the power assistance. Easy to clean and charge. Can use to thin out branches in tight spaces. All in all, at sale price with battery and charger a good deal for me. Plus I have the jawsaw too for bigger sized limbs that uses sane battery and I can keep both batteries charged so I don’t have to wait for recharges as much.
Get for your elder friends or relatives for garden and planting beds. It works!

Love this item in fact it is my new favorite item it works great and is easy to use makes trimming trees and shrubs a breeze. I have arthritis in my hands and arms so trimming with the old type pruning shears is almost impossible for me but with the battery operated pruners I can get the job done in no time. Well worth the money.
