12 reviews for ZINUS Lotus Zero Gravity Chaise Lounger, Foam Recliner for Living Room, Ergonomic Positioning for Better Relaxation, Pillow Included, No Assembly

I just had this delivered yesterday and it’s been amazing! I bought it for work so I can comfortably work from home while also being lazy. It’s perfect! Legs are elevated so you can rest your laptop on your lap and see, there’s relieving pressure points for your back. It’s amazing. The perfect small size to fit in my room. The price is steep. I would really consider getting one though, I am going to spend a good chunk of time here both on personal and business time

I bought this after seeing a review on YouTube. It’s not cheap, by any means. I do like it, was just hoping to like it more. It’s really nicely made. Foam provides a good cushion, and is also firm enough to even sit on the end where your feet lay. It’s a good size, even for an adult male. My biggest complaint about it, would be when your laying in it, there’s no support for your arms. There’s no where for your arms to go. I find I either have to cross my arms, interlock my fingers, or just sit on my hands. Otherwise your arms just kind of dangle. I was hoping I could take naps in it, but I don’t seem to be able to nap in it as easy as my recliner. I do lay in it to watch tv.
I don’t mean to make it all negative. Maybe others will like it more. Just pricey to take a chance on.

I love lounging on this chair when I’m reading or on my phone. It’s super comfortable, especially once you figure out a cushion position that works for you. It’s sturdy but far lighter than it looks, so you can easily move it on your own when necessary. I do wish there were more cover options available because this thing is ugly and conventional couch covers won’t fit. I ended up buying a twin duvet cover and pinning it to fit.

So comfy, stylish and worth every penny.. I don’t know what happened with the other reviews that say it didn’t expand.. mine started expanding the minute I cut into the plastic.. I love mine.. I’d leave a thousand star review if I could this is an amazing product! Buy one, you won’t regret it. My only complaint is I wish the cover came in different colours , but the grey is nice too. Highly recommend!

Shipped fast. easy to assemble. I like the sheet fabric – thick and soft, it reminds me of cotton jersey – and it fits the cushion well (not loose). This sofa fits this small area in my room perfectly too!

    well-made and extremely comfortable.
    i am 54yrs, 150lbs, 5’8″ and i fit perfectly.
great for resting sore muscles & arthritic joints. i’m very happy with the purchase.

I’m old. Not sure what made me think this was a good idea to buy. I am happy with it so far, though.

First off, I let it sit in the room 30 minutes before putting on the cover. The cover goes on fairly easy once you figure out which end is which. There’s virtually no wrinkles like others had. I like that there was no smell like some foam items have.

I was unsure if this was going to be comfortable or not. I mean, look at the shape of this thing. They never taught me this shape in school. Some of the reviews here say they could sit in this for hours. I’m not sure where I saw it, but one review said he’s not sure how anyone could stay in it for very long.

It’s very soft, but I did feel hotter when sitting on it. I’m I am 6 foot 2 inches tall. My feet hang off the edge a bit. I think that’s fine and I feel I could fall asleep in this. In fact, I might sleep in it tonight just to prove a point. I could probably sleep here a few hours until I felt like turning on my side, then I’d move to the bed.

The only two negatives I have. One, it would be nice to be just a tad higher where my head goes. I’m playing games and I’d like my head propped up a bit more to see the angle of my game better. Two, there’s no places for your arms to rest. You either have to put them behind your head or on your lap. While I would prefer an arm rest, it’s not a deal breaker. You’ll get used to it quick.

.. and what I meant in the first line about being old? It’s hard to get out of. Sometimes that’s not a bad thing, but eventually I had to eat food or I’d starve to death so I got out.

Used for reading chair, work station, and movie chair. Very comfortable, nice aesthetics, and lightweight for ease of moving around the house.

I was skeptical of purchasing this zero gravity lounger since I’ve owned a Zinus mattress before, and it was an uncomfortable experience. Combined with the pictures of lumpy covers left by other reviewers, it felt like a gamble.

However, the dimensions were perfect for a bedroom escape and the design looked ergonomically orgasmic. So I pulled the trigger, and I’m glad that I did.

I read a review where a guy took a leaf blower to his lounger while it was airing out. Since I wanted a tight fitting cover, I did the same (reverse output on a shop vac). I pumped air to the parts where the liner/foam hand wrinkles, then threw the cover into the dryer for 15 minutes with some laundry balls.

These pictures are 1 hour after I removed the memory foam and cover from the box. There are still some slight wrinkles to be worked out, but they say 24-48 hours for it to expand.

The base of the lounger is a firm memory foam, whereas the area on the top of the lounger (from back to feet) is a softer foam. I’m 5’6″ and this lounger is just about the perfect size for me. The base of my skull hits the top of the chair and my feet dangle over the edge.

I can’t imagine trying to fit in this if you were any taller. It seems close to perfect for my short height, but I still kinda feel like an adult in a child’s chair. It is extremely low to the ground, so you’ll need to make sure you have some strength in your knees if you’re an adult.

That being said, this lounger is comfy. I nearly fell asleep after testing it out the first time, and it’s such a relief after doing some exercise. The lumbar pillow is a nice touch and the whole feel/design of the cover feels premium, a saving grace since the chair is a bit juvenile in design.

Another huge plus for me is the foot rest. Like the pictures show, it’s the perfect spot to get some work done on your laptop because there’s ample room. That area alone is about 22″ x 13″ and fits my laptop and iPad mini (in portrait road). Great for studying, working, or multitasking.

Overall: I am very satisfied with my purchase and it seems like a steal for $the 190 sale price. I have a relaxing lounger that relieves pressure, gives me a quiet place to work, takes up very little room, and is beautiful to look at.

Comfortable to a fault. A great chair to work from after I need a change from my office chair and my standing desk. However once I sit down I don’t want to get up.

  11. Jared

This chair is the best chair ever. I bought it for a bedroom reading chair but now it’s the only thing I ever want to sit in. It is very soft yet firm enough to hold weight. It is somewhat low to the ground but even I can get up out of it with my bad knee. If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that my kids are also obsessed with this chair and in order to not have to listen to them argue over who gets to sit in the chair, I’m going to have to buy two more of them.
It was easy to set the chair up and the cover is pretty easy to get on and off. I am so glad I bought this chair. It’s perfect for reading, tv watching and probably video games too. I had this in my cart for a few months and I’m kicking myself for not buying it sooner.

  12. Simran

Cover is either too big or foam didn’t expend entirely. but it’s comfortable anyway.
